To help you decide on any specific shots you would like taken include a checklist in the wedding pack. Please choose no more than 10 shots and leave the rest for spontaneous shots on the day. We will always try to be flexible but a lot of large group photos are very tiring for guests.
CAN WE CHOOSE WHAT PHOTOS WILL GO IN THE ALBUM?
If you would like to choose which photos to put in your album we offer a Proof Album containing either 100 or 200 6x4 inch photos for you to choose the final 20, 30, 40 or 80 6x8 inch photos that will appear in your album. All the 6x4 proof photos will be yours to keep. If you prefer the photographer to choose the best photos to go in your album based on your checklist there will be no extra charge.
This would not be necessary as lighting conditions vary depending on the time of day, time of year and the prevailing weather conditions. We arrive in plenty of time to assess where best to take the photos.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?
We would always prefer to make use of natural daylight, however if it rains we work round this by using large umbrellas (which do not usually appear in the photos), external porches, doorways and arches, or in the worst cases working inside. We would not want you and your guests to get soaked.
You will be contacted when the photos are ready.
WHAT HAPPENS TO THE ORIGINAL IMAGES?
The original digital photographic files remain the exclusive property of Flash Gordon Photography, as per the Terms & Conditions.
HOW DO WE ORDER REPRINTS & ENLARGEMENTS ONCE WE HAVE RECEIVED THE ALBUM?
When you collect your album we will include an order form for reprints with the album. The reprint sizes range from 6x4 inches to A1 (23.4x33.1 inches) poster size.
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU CANNOT MAKE IT ON THE DAY?In the very unlikely event of this happening we will refund any money already paid, as per the Terms & Conditions. We will always make our very best efforts to attend your wedding in case of illness such as colds and 'flu, or any other unforeseen event.
We use high quality digital photography. You have the opportunity to judge the quality for yourselves before booking by making an appointment to come and view examples of our work.
WHAT SIZE ARE THE DIGITAL IMAGES ON THE CD YOU SUPPLY WITH SOME OF YOUR PACKAGES?
They are the same size and quality as taken on the camera, up to 10 megapixels.
The
photographs are printed locally by professional developers using the latest
hi-tech processing equipment. If you make an appointment to come and view
my work you will be able to judge the quality of the developing and printing.
ARE YOU A FULL TIME PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER?
I am a full time professional photographer.
HAVE THE PHOTOGRAPHS THAT WE ARE VIEWING BEEN TAKEN BY YOU?
All the photographs on the web site and all the photographs I show potential
customers are my work.
We usually arrive at the venue at least an hour before the ceremony is due to start. Further to this it is difficult to give an exact timescale as it depends on so many factors including the package chosen.
If you chose the Wedding Deluxe & Deluxe Eighty packages it will take a maximum of 4 hours or 8 hours, although the vast majority of the shots taken will be spontaneous and should not interfere too much with your day.
We are aware that it can get tiring for both you and your guests if any formal photography you might require goes on too long.
We do not take a set number of photos. We may take each shot several times to capture the right moment and to ensure quality.
WHAT IS THE SIZE OF THE FINAL PHOTOS WE RECEIVED?
The size of the photos is 6 x 8 inches. Larger sizes may not be suitable from a compositional point of view. For example 10 x 8 inches is nearly square and does not match the image seen in the viewfinder as well as 6 x 8 inches.
Also we keep to 6 x 8 inches so that the packages advertised do not become too complicated. When you order your reprints the sizes range from 6 x 4 inches to A1 (23.4x33.1 inches) poster size.
Once you have booked your wedding photography we will not increase the price on the packages you have ordered, even if our advertised prices were to increase for new customers.
IS THERE VAT TO BE ADDED TO THE PRICES YOU QUOTE?
The price you see is the price you get. There are no additional VAT charges.
WHICH PHOTOS WOULD APPEAR ON PHOTO CD IF WE WERE TO ORDER ONE OF THESE ITEMS?
All the photos that appear in the album will also appear on the photo CD if ordered
You will have to pay the extra charge because even when venues are close to each other it can still add considerably to the time taken. For example members of the wedding party, including the bride and groom, are unlikely to leave one venue and arrive at the other in unison, so delays are always likely. Also I have to take the amount of time to pack and unpack the equipment.
